I was born in Georgetown, South Carolina to Albert Cleveland Wall and Dorothy Mae Lambert Wall. At the age of three
my parents moved to Rome, Georgia, where my Daddy worked for Georgia Kraft, a paper mill. While living in Rome, I came
to believe I would never have a baby sister or brother as I was eight and still an only child. My belief was proven
wrong when my baby sister, Linda Grace, was born. My family lived in Rome for one more year and then Daddy up and move
us to Savannah, Tennessee, where he was employed by Tennessee River Pulp and Paper Company.
While living in Savannah, I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior at the age of twelve. Today, I can still remember
the moment and the wonderful feeling of release when I asked Jesus into my heart. God has been so good to me throughout
the years. I was raised in a Christian home with parents that valued life and taught my sister and me to love others
as God did us. They instilled in us morals that have carried us through life and flowed over into the lives of our children.
At the end of my junior year in high school, Daddy moved the family to Eufaula, Alabama, where I met my husband, Bill,
and we continue to reside today. We were married in 1967and were blessed with three children. God gave us
two sons and one daughter. What a joyous time we have had watching them grow into the fine adults they are
today. All of them are married and still live in Eufaula. We continue to cherish each day we have with them,
along with our two little grand daughters.
During the years I was rearing my children, I sang with the Eufaula Camerata Chorus, which is a select group of ladies who
love to sing. We gave two concerts a year. I was always so shy being in front of folks. As a little girl, I would
go into another room to sing for my parents or other relatives. Now that is shy! With the encouragement
of my son I started singing in public..
Having fun with my granddaughter & "Jazzy"!

The joy and happiness a grandchild gives is tremendous!
When I realized I could actually stand before folks and sing without passing out with
fright, I started singing in my church. Soon after God led me to nursing homes, assisted living homes, charity
events and a variety of other places. I love to minister to the elderly. They are so appreciative of someone
coming to see them.
